Abstract
We demonstrate ultra-short pulse generation using multi-layered graphene as saturable absorbers. The laser operation regimes switched between mode-locking and Q-switching are investigated. The multi-layered graphene saturable absorber is prepared by mechanical exfoliation from graphite flakes located between two fiber connectors.
