A Review Study on Arabic Text Classification

Abstract

Documents contain a vast amount of crucial human information. The substantial rise in the number of electronic documents available for personal or public usage necessitates the demand for automatic text categorization. Text classification is the process of classifying or arranging documents into a specified group of categories. Arabic text classification methods emerged spontaneously as a result of the vast volume of diverse textual material provided in Arabic on the internet. This paper presents a review study on the recent researches that have studied Arabic text classification.
