Abstract

We tested linear and nonlinear DSP compensation on high symbol rate optical transmission with silicon segmented modulator. Experimental results show pre- and post-DSP techniques gives different improvements on BER performance and enabling maximum 532.2Gbps/pol net data rate transmission.
