An open simulation and modelling environment for embedded real-time systems

Abstract

An open design and simulation environment for embedded real-time systems is presented. It focuses on validation and observation of combined hardware/software systems and easy integration of new tools. The simulation and modelling mechanisms are detailed, together with their respective interactions. Initial experiments and performance results are described. The work is part of the OMI/TOOLS project funded by the European Community.
