The Widening Circles of Violence

Abstract

A chaplain from an urban trauma center uses the play to reflect on situations he has experienced in his ministry. In personal vignettes he sketches the far-reaching impact of violence on not just the victims and their immediate families, but on all who interface with it—police, hospital and medical staffs, rescue and emergency medical personnel.
