Abstract

The development of a prototype digital road model (DRM) is necessary to improve the efficiency of traffic management and ensure road safety by using the capabilities of road infrastructure facilities. Intelligent transport systems (ITS) apply innovative solutions in the modeling and regulation of traffic, providing road users with information and safety. DRM is a part of the ITS and is implemented in the form of information and software components. The introduction of road safety standards on the road, where the participation of unmanned vehicles is possible, allows transport and the road complex to interact as efficiently as possible, improve the availability and quality of transport services to meet the needs of users and the country's economy.
