Prediction of currents and voltages alterations in transient modes of electric circuits based on reduced models

Abstract

The paper is related to the development of the transient analysis in electric circuits based on prediction of the subsequent values of parameters from the previous measurements. The theoretical basis of below considered approach is based on scanning of so called derivative spectra of currents and voltages. In this paper derivative spectrum is calculated using measurements data. Such approach is expected to be useful in case of switches in electrical power systems when the control system will predict the values of nodes voltages giving the opportunity for intervention into the transient mode.
