Arrays of dipoles around vertical cylindrical supports — Analysis and design using PC

Abstract

A computer program which evaluates the radiation patterns for the arrays of horizontal and vertical dipoles arbitrarily arranged in one or more subarrays around cylindrical supports, taking into account the effect of the support, is presented in the paper. The program is based on the rigorous solution of Maxwell's equations for a dipole near a long cylinder. Several examples of program execution are given to illustrate some of the program capabilities.
