The Influence of Inertial Sensors Parameters on Guidance Systems

Abstract

This article deals with inertial sensors, accelerometers and their influence on missile guidance systems of guided missiles. Accelerometers are used in accelerometer feedback of guided missile autopilot, their parameters and stability parameters are important for stability of missile flight features. The article main contribution is the evaluation basic accelerometer parameters, influence of scale factor, offset and their temperature dependency on the missile trajectory and missile normal acceleration. The influence of accelerometer white noise on missile trajectory is evaluated too. Accelerometer white noise is estimated according to Allan variance.
