The relationship between electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter corner frequency and switching frequency is also analytically derived which provides guideline for switching frequency and EMI filter design optimization. Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive analytical analysis of the ac and dc side harmonics of the three-level active neutral point clamped (ANPC) inverter with space vector modulation (SVM) scheme. An analytical model to calculate the harmonics of a three-level converter with SVM is developed. The ac side output voltage harmonics and dc side current harmonics characteristics are calculated and analyzed.
