The designed antenna structure is a simple design and easy of construction. The proposed antenna is made pattern reconfigurable by changing the switching condition of PIN diode. The resonance frequency of the designed antenna operates at 6.9GHz. By enabling and disabling the diode switching conditions the antenna produce band notch frequency at 6.9GHz and also achieved pattern reconfiguration. In this proposed design parameters like gain, radiation pattern, return loss and VSWR are also presented. The designed antenna used for C-band cognitive radio applications.
