Abstract

Mobile evacuation routing in a smart building offers a great opportunity to evacuate buildings more efficiently and safely compared to the most commonly used evacuation systems (static mounted evacuation signs). Our system is based on the mobile operating system Android and the cross-platform game engine Unity. Beacons were used for indoor localization.
