The exponential consensus of general second order multi-agent systems with communication delay

Abstract

This article studies the consensus problem for a class of general second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay. The Lyapounov-Krasovskii functional with integral terms is constructed. Based on the Lyapounov-Krasovskii functional, the sufficient exponential consensus conditions for a class of general second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay are obtained. The effectiveness of the derived consensus conditions is illustrated by numerical example.
