Abstract
To study the GIS fault location method with no obvious fault characteristics, this paper firstly studies the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in GIS equipment, and then proposes a fault location method and system of GIS equipment based on protection action behavior and ultra-high frequency online monitoring. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by an UHV GIS fault example.
