Has Olishem Been Discovered?

Abstract

News reports from 2013 identify the site of Oylum Hoyuk with both the city of Abraham and the ancient city of Ulisum. The latter has been identified with the Olishem of Abraham 1:10. While the preliminary reports are encouraging, the evidence upon which the archaeologists base their identifications has not yet been published. So while there is nothing against the proposed identifications, they are not proven either.
