Abstract

Characterization of Field Asymmetric Ion Mobility Spectrometry (FAIMS) was studied with two experiments. First, acetone and diethyl ether were used to examine the relationship between concentration and ion current. The results show FAIMS has a nonlinear dependency on gas concentration. Then, binary mixture gases made up of acetone, and diethyl ether was measured.
