Abstract

This paper describes radiated noise analysis for intra-body communication using differential detection with a positive and a negative electrode. Noise reduction is studied through measured waveforms using an optical tool with a laser diode and a photo diode. A noise source, transmitter, and receiver are made from the optical tool. It is verified that the differential detection can reduce the radiated noise from a communication cable under a free access floor by adjusting the differential voltage balance between the positive and negative electrodes.
