Abstract

Implementation of advanced antenna concepts is essential for the success of 5G and beyond. Conventional beamforming networks like Butler matrices, Blass matrices, Rotman lens networks, and conventional adaptive arrays are very favorable. Meanwhile, use of multi-element antennas associated with the implementation of advanced algorithms are the backbone of efficacy of spatial processing.
