Abstract
Viewed from a critical perspective, this paper discusses the role of higher education institutions in combating environmental degradation. It uses the case of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Cuajimalpa, which has adopted environmental sustainability as a guiding principle in its plans and curricula.
