This research's risk assessment was done based on expert judgments from the interview and discussion with batik tulis craftsmen and stakeholders of the industry. Evaluation of 5 experts of work safety and 1 academic for each risk and each work process. Results of the expert's evaluations are processed using the Pareto method and then bow-tie analysis. The ergonomic factor of the tools calculated using the posture evaluation index (PEI). Results of the study showed that the highest risk activities are happening in the putihan, lorot, and soga step therefore designing better gawangan, chair, and plangkan recommended to reduce the risk.
