Some calculation cases are designed to study the rebound deformation laws of the cutting under excavation unloading effect. Through analyzing the settlement deformation data of different conditions, the settlement deformation laws are revealed with different soil parameters, unloading stress, thickness of compressed layer and characteristic time point.
