Abstract

Massive scientific and technical literature has led to information overload for researchers. To obtain scientific and technical information efficiently, this paper proposes a method to organize scientific literature information with events. It aims to promoting the discovery and management of relations among scientific literature for intelligent applications. To construct the semantic link network of scientific research events, the first step is to analyze external characteristics and internal textual contents of scientific literature, and then extract information as the elements of scientific research events.
