Financial model of UAB

Abstract

The paper will be concerned with the implementation of an overall Financial Model of UAB using the IBM program product PSG II/VS. PSG(Planning Systems Generator) is a generalized, broad based package for any type of modeling situation utilizing time series data. I will explore the background of the model and various steps in the implementation process. The various sub-models included will be: (1) Budget/Appropriation model (2) Expenditure model (3) Revenue model (4) UAB Equilibrium model using the Stanford Model techniques and (5) Personnel/Space Model.
