Abstract

We report on the observation of intraband magneto-optical transitions in n-Pb1-xMnxTe (0 ≤ × ≤ 0.02) in epitaxial film of high carrier mobility (μ ∼ 2 × 105 cm2/Vs) in magnetic fields up to 20 T. Among the observed resonance transitions the cyclotron resonance and combined resonance were identified. The g-tensor is not proportional to the macroscopic magnetization in its T- and B-dependence. In addition, transitions are observed which extrapolate to a finite binding energy.
