Abstract

This paper reviews architecture of hybrid AC/DC microgrid and several controlling strategies for hybrid AC/DC microgrid. Interconnected group of networks of loads, energy storage system and distributed energy sources defines a microgrid. To avoid multiple conversion that occurs in individual AC as well as DC grid in the microgrid system, hybrid microgrid is a solution for such issues.
