The simulation and measured of waveguide aperture for parabolic front-fed reflector antenna results covering frequency range from 9.91 GHz to 10.61 GHz and 9.98 GHz to 10.51 GHz, respectively. Abstract

In this paper, an E-plane choke waveguide aperture antenna is designed for front-fed parabolic reflector. The aperture antenna consists of the radiating rectangular waveguide vertically jointed to the two coupling apertures or the E-plane choke to achieve the symmetrical beam for the X-band frequency operating from 10.00 GHz to 10.50 GHz.
