Abstract

Integrated optoelectronic devices are of increasing interest for high-speed signal acquisition and processing applications. Both guided-wave and conventional optoelectronic structures have been hybridized to provide important processing capabilities not readily achievable with all-electronic devices. Here, our experimental work on two wideband devices is reviewed and several new types of integrated optical signal processing devices are discussed.
