Abstract

                Muhammad Abdul Haleem Abdullah is one the bright and brilliant novelists of Egypt in the twentieth century. He had many meetings with the legends of Arabic prose like Dr. Taha Hussein and Najeeb Mehfooz who had positive contribution in the nurturing of the great writer, in the form of artistic writing. Thus, Muahmmad Abdul Haleem Abdullah wrote on variety of subjects, and contributed a great number of more than a hundred short stories and thirteen novels to the stream of Arabic literature. His focus was to address the social issues facing the Egyptian society especially on the rural front. In this very article, light has been shed on one of the main members of the Egyptian society; ie, woman, who makes up almost half of any society. This article is basically restricted to three of his novels, in which the representation of the Muslim woman is discussed. It is broadly divided into two chapters; one is composed of brief stories of the three novels and the other discusses representation of the Muslim women in the Egyptian society.
