Setting The study was conducted at Soad Kafafy Private University Hospital. Sample Two groups of samples were selected: the staff nurses sample consisted of (100 staff nurses) and the patient sample consisted of 100 patients. Tools Two tools were used in the study the first: the patient satisfaction questionnaire assesses patient satisfaction; it contains seven dimensions with a total of 51 items and the second: the staff nurses’ motivation questionnaire developed by the researchers to assess the nurses’ motivational factors. It contains seven dimensions with a total of 48 items. Result The results showed that there is a positive correlation between patient’s satisfaction and nurse’s motivation. Conclusion There was a significant relationship between staff nurses’ motivation and patient satisfaction.
