Communication Strategies of Ancestral Identity in the Digital Environment

Abstract

The article analyzes the possibilities of implementing various strategies of a person’s communication with his past in a digital environment. The article builds on studies of the digital software products [Liu, Dai, Wang, Zhou, Qu, 2017; Marton, Nagy, Suciu, 2013; Zemnukhova L. 2019] and sources devoted to genealogical research (Dorunova N. 2009, Postnikova S. 2014, Bychkov 2018). The empirical database made up of software products containing genealogical products information as well as the result of an online survey of network users interested in their ancestry.
