The market attractiveness of different types of redevelopment of industrial territories (business centers, shopping malls and hotels) was analyzed. The potential of the self-storage market in St. Petersburg was studied and the demands of the market players for the location of objects were determined. It is proved that most industrial areas have a high attractiveness for self-storage. Abstract
Self-Storage can be one of the new and profitable options for redevelopment of the «gray belt» of St. Petersburg.
