User’s Actual Use Factors in Using M-Health for Seeking Health Information Based on Generation Comparison

Abstract

the objective of this study is to identify the difference of factors affecting actual use of m-health user for seeking health information based on generation comparison between X, Y, and Z generation. This study used quantitative approach with a total of 774 respondents using m-health application in Indonesia. The data in this study were processed and analyzed using SmartPLS version 3.2.8. The analysis result from X generation, Y generation, and Z generation shows that sources credibility, attitude, and behavior intention influence to m-health user actual use for seeking health information using m-health. Other than that, Y generation and Z generation show that perceived enjoyment and perceived value have an influence on m-health user actual use for seeking health information using m-health. Perceived behavior control also has an influence on Z generation m-health user actual use for seeking health information using m-health. The differences between each generation in this research show that younger generation will quickly utilise and adapt with technology than the older generation.
