GROUP LOYALTY AND INFORMAL RELATIONS IN SOME SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES

Abstract

The article discusses informal relationships in some SouthEast Asian countries on the basis of group loyalty from the perspective of Exchange theory. The article examines the principles and general features of the relationship of indigenous informal groups. The author attempts to represent the structure of relations within an informal social aggregate as a matrix of ties between members of the group. This matrix can be considered as a batch of parameter of the social structure.
