Philosophy of Tragedy by F.M. Dostoevsky

Abstract

The universal structure of the tragic myth is considered as a generative model of the picture of the world of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. The significance of the dialectical criteria of methodology for evaluating the concepts of "philosophy of tragedy" proposed by the interpreters of creativity is revealed. It is concluded that the achievements or failures of the interpreters are determined in each case by the degree of adequacy or inadequacy of the researcher's methodology to the dialectical worldview of the writer.
