Abstract

Every people resorts, consciously or unconsciously, to signs in order to convey meanings in a representative framework. Thus, in a communicative situation, for example, the names of animals can be sometimes a springboard to characterize a person with traits and qualities. Therefore, this article attempts to study the linguistic imagination of animal names in the Aiṯ Iznassen. To do this, we will use a corpus that includes animal names to understand the mental representations and meanings that animal names present in a symbolic context for the speaker of Aiṯ Iznassen.
