Abstract

In contemporary society, smart grid technology of which the foundation is substation technology plays a pivotal role in developping national economy. IEC61850 protocol is widely used in power grid technology due to its various advantages. However, many communication protocols still used in industrial fields, leading to that different devices can’t be well compatible with each other which will result in the low utilization rate. MODBUS protocol is a widely used communication protocol in the industrial scope.
