Intelligent Systems Powered Hourly Attendance Capturing System

Abstract

In all institutions, keeping attendance is essential in order to monitor the student attendance percentage. Each institute takes a distinct stance in this regard. Others continue to manually record attendance for each hour using old-fashioned paper, uploading the data for each hour of a class to a server or utilizing a file-based approach. Some have adopted ways of automatic attendance using some biometric technologies. Unfortunately, employing these strategies requires people to spend hours waiting in line. Thus, the primary objective of this system is to create an automated system that uses artificial intelligence based student attendance monitoring system on an hourly basis using cameras that are already deployed in the classrooms.
