Passive observer-based control of synchronous generator

Abstract

In this paper, based on the full order model and using passivity approach, a robust control is designed for synchronous generator connected to a infinite bus. To estimate the unmeasurable state variables and the operation point, two observers are designed using generalized high order sliding mode control algorithm. The robustness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by the stability analysis and simulations.
