Abstract

Using magnetohydrodynamic equations (MHD), we investigate plasma waves. This magnetohydrodynamic model for isothermal, gravitationally stratified plasma in a horizontal inhomogeneous magnetic field yields the dispersion equation and reflection coefficient for MHD waves.
