This paper analyzes the working principle of STATCOM device. Taking the three-phase H-bridge STATCOM device as an example, on the PSCAD simulation platform, using the user-defined modeling function interface technology, using C language static variables, allocating memory through common arrays, an accurate and detailed digital STATCOM model is established, and simulation experiments are carried out. The research shows that the application of user-defined module effectively makes up for the shortcomings of its own component library, and enhances the flexibility of simulation and engineering practical value. Abstract
