Abstract

An intelligent front end for the H/sub /spl infin control system design method is described. Systematic procedures for the H/sub /spl infin controller design are presented, and they are applied to the control system design of a single flexible link. The authors' approach provides a coupling of the design knowledge and design algorithms for carrying out the controller design.
