Abstract

Providing private data is a highly controversial and widely debated topic. Not only the information about individuals but also about companies should be kept private. In order to satisfy the needs of both individuals and companies, corresponding privacy protection mechanisms have to be implemented. For example, systems which assist customers during their shopping process in a physical retail store require customer related information, such as the shopping list, allergy or bank account information as well as data from the retailer, like the product range and prices.
