The existing methods for evaluating the above-mentioned indicators are considered. The forecasting is based on the calculation of the residual total number of design load applications and the total number of automobile passes in the traffic lane, for which the forecasting is carried out. The article shows the possibility to determine the indexes of longitudinal and transversal flatness as well as residual life of the pavement structure at the present time by the data acquired by the video monitoring cameras. Video surveillance cameras record the dimensions of vehicles and organize the data on the structure and intensity of traffic. Abstract

The article analyzes the use of geographic information system (GIS) to determine the indicators of longitudinal and transverse flatness of pavement and residual life of pavement structures with subsequent prediction of changes in these indicators over the years of road operation.
