Abstract

In a cognitive radio system, a spectrum sensing and a channel state prediction are used for efficiently detecting a vacant channel. A Markov chain model is very popular channel model for the prediction. Thus, we focus on an impact of electromagnetic wave interference to channel prediction using the Markov chain model. Then we consider a robust channel selection method under home electronics-derived electromagnetic wave interferences. In this paper, we perform experimental measurements under the environment both without the electromagnetic wave interference and with the electromagnetic wave interference to search the impact of the channel state prediction.
