Abstract
In this paper, we present an alternate use of smartphone technology for RF detection and analysis. With minimal modification to the original Smartphone hardware, i.e. Wifi, Bluetooth and XBee add-on, as well as using firmware algorithmic modifications to the smartphone (using Linux Plasma Mobile Distro), the aim is to have the most precise objects detection and positioning system.
