Audio podcasts as an efficient channel for distributing educational information in ecology

Abstract

The author shares the experience of using audio podcasts to build the Republic residents’ awareness of the natural heritage of the region. She discusses the ecological educational project: «Audiopodcast. Travelling through the Komi Republic with celebrities»; explains why the format of audio podcast has been chosen, and suggests how partnerships can be used to expand the audience.
