Abstract

This paper presents the experimental results in a proposal that aims to develop an adaptive mechanism of management and control frame traffic under a infrastructured network in the IEEE 802.11 standard to any of its versions. The mechanism is based on Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) values to measure users mobility and allow the station to decide the mechanism activation or deactivation.
