واقع إدارة الأزمات فی الأقسام الأکادیمیة بجامعة تبوک بالمملکة العربیة السعودیة The Reality of Crisis Management in the Academic Departments of the University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia

Abstract

هدف البحث الکشف عن واقع إدارة الأزمات فی مراحل (اکتشاف إشارات الإنذار المبکر للأزمة، الاستعداد والوقایة، احتواء الأضرار، استعادة النشاط، التعلم) فی الأقسام الأکادیمیة بجامعة تبوک بالمملکة العربیة السعودیة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هیئة التدریس، والکشف عن الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائیة بین متوسطات استجابات أفراد عینة البحث حول واقع إدارة الأزمات بمراحلها المختلفة فی الأقسام الأکادیمیة بجامعة تبوک تعزى لمتغیرات (الجنس-التخصص – نوع البرامج التی یقدمها القسم)، واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفی المسحی، واستخدمت الاستبانة کأداة لجمع البیانات وطبقت على عینة عشوائیة طبقیة من أعضاء هیئة التدریس بکلیات المقر الرئیس بجامعة تبوک بلغت (238) عضوا، وأظهرت النتائج أن واقع إدارة الأزمات فی الأقسام الأکادیمیة بجامعة تبوک فی المراحل ککل من وجهة نظر أعضاء هیئة التدریس جاء بدرجة متوسطة، کما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة عند مستوى (0.05≥α ) بین متوسطات استجابات أفراد العینة حول جمیع مراحل إدارة الأزمات عدا مرحلة استعادة النشاط تعزى لمتغیرات ( الجنس ونوع البرامج التی یقدمها القسم)، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة عند مستوى (0.05≥α ) حول واقع إدارة الأزمة فی جمیع المراحل والمراحل ککل تعزى لمتغیر تخصص القسم لصالح أعضاء هیئة التدریس بالأقسام الأکادیمیة ذات التخصص العملی، وأوصى البحث بضرورة استحداث وحدة لإدارة الأزمات بکل کلیة من کلیات جامعة تبوک. This research aims to reveal the reality of crisis management in the stages of (discovering the early warning signs of the crisis, readiness and prevention, control of damages, activity recovery, and learning) in the academic departments of the University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia,  from the faculty members' viewpoint. The paper also strives to reveal the statistically significant differences among the averages of the responses of the members of the study sample on the reality of crisis management in its various stages in the academic departments of the University of Tabuk according to the variables of (gender - specialization – kind of programs offered by the department).The paper used the surveying descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data and was applied to a sample of 238 faculty members in the main campus of the University of Tabuk. The results showed that the reality of crisis management in the academic departments of the University of Tabuk in the stages as a whole from the faculty members' point of view had a medium degree. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0.05≥ α) among the averages of the responses of the members of the sample in all the stages of crisis management except for the activity recovery stage due to the variables of (gender and kind of programs offered by the department). Besides, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05≥ α) in the reality of crisis management in all stages and in the stages as a whole due to the variable of the specialization of the department for the privilege of faculty members in the academic departments whose area of specialty is practical. The research recommends the necessity of establishing a unit for crisis management in each college at the University of Tabuk..
