Abstract

Bangladesh is one of the countries in which introduced voting system in parliamentary and assembly polls. But in every election, the election commission is facing a lot of troubles and various types of problems throughout the election. The most familiar issue faced by the election commission is improper confirmation with respect to the arrangement of casting the votes, duplication or illegal casting of votes. In this paper, a secure and new voting system is developed to improve the existing voting system using smartcard and iris recognition. Iris is one of the most secure biometric of person identification. The main goal of this article is to avoid the duplication of casting votes.
