The Green Supply Chain Management Practices: A Green Approach

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to introduce and provide an overview effect on the green supply chain management practices, supply chain integration and the manufacturing firm’s performances in Malaysia. Design/Methodology/Approach - The research design for this study’s will involved in the quantitative method of convenience sampling and survey questionnaires that have been developed based on a through and detailed analysis of the relevant literature.Furthermore, the study sample is focused on the manufacturing sector with respondent from the managerial level and above. Findings - The result of this research could present a good and better recommendation of overcoming the problem of green environment in supply chain as well as come up with suggestion for an improvement. Originality/Value - This research probably the first to measure a green practice in supply chain integration on the manufacturing performance. Each role of the practice is important in convincing companies to adopt green supply chain into their integration flow.
